March 2025 – DS2 – Day Skipper Shorebased Navigation Classroom Course

A comprehensive introduction to cruising for inexperienced skippers. This course equips you with enough knowledge to navigate around familiar waters by day. A basic knowledge of lights is also included to introduce you to night cruising.

Course Cost: €450.00

Maximum Students: 15
Course Location: Waterford Harbour Sailing Club, Dunmore East, Co.Waterford
Course Duration: Spring 2025 – March & April

• Four Saturdays (09:15 – 16:30)
• Four Wednesday Evenings (18:00 – 21:30)

Course Exam: Will be run on the last day of course, with revision in the morning and a 3-hour written exam in the afternoon.

Course Dates:

• Evening 1 – Wed 5th Mar 2025 (18:00 – 21:30).
• Day 1 – Sat 8th Mar 2025 (09:15 – 16:30).
• Evening 2 – Wed 12th Mar 2025 (18:00 – 21:30).
• Day 2 – Sat 15th Mar 2025 (09:15 – 16:30).
• Evening 3 – Wed 19th Mar 2025 (18:00 – 21:30).
• Day 3 – Sat 22nd Mar 2025 (09:15 – 16:30).
• Day 4 – Sat 29th Mar 2025 (09:15 – 16:30).
• Evening 4– Wed 2nd Apr 2025 (18:00 – 21:30). Including Exam
