Autumn 2024 – DS1 – Day Skipper Shorebased Navigation Classroom Course

A comprehensive introduction to cruising for inexperienced skippers. This course equips you with enough knowledge to navigate around familiar waters by day. A basic knowledge of lights is also included to introduce you to night cruising.

Course Location: Waterford City
Course Duration: Autumn 2024 – November & December

• Four Sundays (09:00 – 17:00)
• Three Wednesday Evenings (18:00 – 21:30)

Course Exam: Will be run on the last day of course, with revision in the morning and a 3-hour written exam in the afternoon.

Course Dates:

• Day 1 – Sun 24th Nov 2024 (09:00 – 17:00).
• Evening 1 – Wed 27th Nov 2024 (18:00 – 21:30).
• Day 2 – Sun 1st Dec 2024 (09:00 – 17:00).
• Evening 2 – Wed 4th Dec 2024 (18:00 – 21:30).
• Day 3 – Sun 8th Dec 2024 (09:00 – 17:00).
• Evening 3 – Wed 11th Dec 2024 (18:00 – 21:30).
• Day 4 – Sun 15th Dec 2024 (09:00 – 17:00). Including Exam
